XP Freelancer takes account security very seriously. If we notice an attempt to sign in to your account from an unrecognized device or location, we'll send you an "Unknown login attempt" email.
If it's you signing in from a new location (perhaps on vacation in a different country), all you need to do is click the Sign In button or paste the provided link into your browser. You only need to do this once.
If you don't recognize the login attempt, we strongly recommend changing your password immediately using the Change Password button in the email.
Follow these simple tips to protect yourself online
- Use a unique password for every site. Never reuse the same password on multiple sites. Ideally, use a password manager.
- Don’t use passwords that are easy to guess (e.g., password, qwerty123) or related to you (your name, birthday, etc.).
- If you suspect that your password is compromised, change it immediately and never use it again.
- Keep your devices updated and consider installing an antivirus software.
- Don't enter your password on other people’s devices.
